A new raid, a new battleground and a new dungeon are all going to be released. On top of that they are revamping there vendor system. Lots of changes, but it seems like there just making the game easier. The only reward for being a long time Warcraft player is that you will be the first to see this content and it will be easier for everyone else to get to. It feels like ever time Blizzard does this that the accomplishments of those who have put in countless hours are greatly diminished. Why can't Blizzard just make everyone earn stuff like in real life.

Anime based on video games

I cringe at the thought. Sadly I have seen 2 animes based on video games and they give me nightmares at night. The first one I saw was Final Fantasy Unlimited. The voice acting is bad, the animation is mediocre and the story makes me want to repress it. The other one is Xenosaga the animation. The best description of it is take everything that was awesome about the first game in the series and make it suck. If you have any interest in either of these series please just play the games and allow these to rot in obscurity.

Classics never die

I decided to go back and play through an older games in my library this week. Up for this week Metroid: Mission Zero. This is actually a remake of the first Metroid. Back in the day Metroid was the formula for non-linear games. Unfortunately the remake does not keep that quality intact. It's fun for a few hours but the linear gameplay makes me miss the orginal. Luckily the rewward for finishing the game unlocks the orginal Metroid.

Missing Final Fantasy XIII

Another year of waiting on my hands. At least I have something to keep them busy. I'm taliking about Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals: Echoes of Time. This is the third installment in the crystal chronicles series. You start out in a small town with a comming of age ceremony that turns into a much larger quest when one of the villagers falls ill. Personaly I think it is a fun way to kill time on the bus or plane, but it's would not be one of my first picks. The controls are a little finiky with the angled camera, but everything else is solid. I would reccommend it if your looking for something to get your Final Fantasy fix while waiting for 13, but not worth looking at otherwise.

Guilds in WOW

Ever wonder what the best thing in WOW is? I'd say it's your guild. Sadly the guild is also the worst part of WOW. Guild's are usualy formed with the intention to form raids to conquer content that a single player cannot achieve on their own. The problem is that the management of 25 people is difficult. Sadly mine just broke up and I want to level a horde to go gank all my former guild mates. It's just kinda depressing to watch all the hard work that I've put into something go down the toliet.

A bitter sweet ending

It's kinda sad this week. Adult Swim just aired the last episode of Code Geass: Lea Louge of the Rebellion R2. Personaly I like it, but it does fall into the same pitfalls as most Anime, with WTF plot twists and and a few totaly over reaching scenarios, but it still entertaining. It seems to try and attempt to grasp the thought process of a genius and I think it is the closest I've seen a TV show come. If you have any interest in Anime I would recoomend the series, but otherwise your better off spending your time on something else.

The Gamers Dictionary

In reading this blog there are some terms I might use that are unfamiliar to most people, in particular when I reference World of Warcraft.
